This Creative Commons License was chosen for the project in alignment with our values and the work that we hope engagers of this site choose to pursue.

We absolutely want folks to share elements from this project with others in a variety of fashions and create their own works - whether academic, artistic, or otherwise, from the AAP. Great example of this are two projects birthed out of the 2020 Digital Humanities Summer Scholars Program -- Black Spaces at Lafayette College and The Social Geography of Lafayette College. You can view additional projects AAP-related projects here.

However, for future adaptations, new work, and research, we want to be clear in that the AAP must be credited, no money can be made from those projects, and the new works need to be under these same parameters. We take seriously the fact that the community trusts us with this history, and we do not want anyone to be exploited ethically, creatively, financially, or otherwise.
