This article examines how Christina Usino, just having assumed the Coordinator of Gender and Sexuality position, planned a “softer” Sex Week in 2016 compared to her predecessor, Gene Kelly. The 2015 Sex Week was considered “provocative” for including a lecture given by porn star Belle Knox and an education program about BSDM. Usino wished to be more inclusive and “limit shock factor” with this year’s events.
